COURSE OVERVIEW

ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System awareness training is intended for those responsible for implementation of food safety management systems or maintaining existing system. This course is also targeted at all personnel involved development, implementation and continual improvement of Food Safety Management System based on ISO 22000:2005 standard.

COURSE PREREQUISITE

There are no prerequisites for this qualification. It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in English or equivalent.

COURSE ASSESSMENT

Learners will be assessed by continuous on course monitoring by the tutor and a certificate of successful completion shall be issued to the learners upon satisfactory completion of the course

  • An introduction to the concepts of food safety, its historical evolution
  • Benefits of implementing food safety management system
  • An introduction of basic concepts and terminology associated with food safety management
